Three products in, a routine that renews itself
Shoppers build a routine in a floating drawer, add three or more products and unlock a standing discount plus a free gift on the first order. Checkout creates a native Shopify subscription — no separate portal, no second app. Pause, skip and cancel live in the shopper’s own Shopify account.

Typical, not measured. What the module actually earned is counted from your store’s own contracts and events
The estimated impact is typical, not measured. Numbers in the mock-ups are illustrative — subscription revenue, attach rate and routine size in the product are counted from your store’s Shopify contracts and storefront events.
Subscribe & Reward or one-time — chosen right above Add to cart
Two surfaces, one module. A floating “Subscribe & Reward” pill (badge “Unlock −15%”) and a header shortcut with the current routine count open the routine drawer anywhere on the store. On the product page a two-option chooser sits just above Add to cart: Subscribe & Reward with its benefits and delivery frequency, or a one-time purchase.
- Chooser lists the reward plainly: 15% off every subscription order, free gift with the first, swap / skip / pause anytime, minimum 3 products for the full reward
- Frequency buttons — every 30 / 45 / 60 days by default — and a nudge that counts down: “Add 2 more products to unlock your free gift.”
- Routine cards carry the badges you set — Popular · New · Best for routine — a short description and an optional custom image

Four steps from the drawer to a recurring order
The mechanic is deliberately simple, and it is the same one the workspace draws for you as four cards on the module’s overview.
- 1
Routine opens
The shopper opens the drawer from the floating pill, the header shortcut or the product-page block. The gift banner and the progress line are already there.
- 2
Products added
Products you allowed for routines are added one by one. The progress text counts them: “{added}/{min} products added”.
- 3
Reward unlocks
At the minimum the line flips: “Reward unlocked: 15% off every subscription order + free gift.” The CTA becomes “Start Subscribe & Reward”.
- 4
Recurring order
Checkout creates a native Shopify subscription on the “Subscribe & Reward” selling plan. The free gift is auto-added at $0 by an automatic discount.
Shopify owns the contract. Comver owns the routine.
Subscribe & Reward creates real Shopify selling plans and subscription contracts. There is no separate customer portal to install, brand or support — and everything the module needs is on its own page in Comver.
Selling plans, created for you
“Run setup” creates the “Subscribe & Reward” selling plan group with one plan per delivery frequency and the free-gift discount. Change the discount and re-run — Comver updates the plans.
Six delivery frequencies
Every 7, 14, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days — switch each one on or off and pick the default. Shoppers pick theirs on the product page or in the drawer.
Self-service in the Shopify account
Pause, skip the next delivery, cancel, swap products (where the Shopify subscription APIs permit it) and update payment or address — you choose which actions to surface.
A first-order gift at $0
Pick the gift product, its display value and the rule — first subscription only or every subscription — plus optional minimums. It is auto-added to the cart at a net price of $0.
Where it shows
All products, only the products and collections you list, or all except the ones you list. Products allowed in routines are chosen separately, with per-product discount overrides and badges.
One style for every module
Style 1 — Basic reads your storefront’s button colour, type and corner radius and follows them; Marketplace and Beauty are authored skins. Accent, position, mobile visibility and header icon are per module.
Ten views, all counted from your own contracts
Every number in the workspace is mirrored from Shopify subscription contracts or counted from storefront events. The only estimate — projected next 30 days — says so.
Setup, eight KPIs and the funnel on one screen
The setup checklist (Selling plans created · Free-gift discount created · Product-page widget enabled), a sentence that says how many shoppers are on a recurring routine, Subscription revenue, Active subscribers, Attach rate, Subscription AOV, Avg routine size, Products added, Cancellations and Projected next 30d — then the six-step funnel from “Widget viewed” to “First recurring order”.

The reward is yours to shape
Set the minimum routine size, the recurring discount and an optional free-shipping threshold. Switch delivery frequencies on and off. Decide which self-service actions shoppers see. Choose the gift, its value, whether it comes with the first subscription only or every one, and the banner text shown above the product-page chooser.
- Reward rules: minimum products, subscription discount %, a “max regular store discount” benchmark for copy, free-shipping threshold
- Free gift: product, name, display value, first-only or every subscription, minimum products or order value, auto-add at $0
- Widget & routine views: pill label, badge, position, accent, mobile visibility, header icon, headline, description, both CTAs and the progress template

No portal to install, no second login to support
A standalone subscription portal is one more surface to brand, translate and answer tickets about. Subscribe & Reward keeps the contract, the payment and the self-service where the shopper already is.
| Standalone subscription portal | Subscribe & Reward | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the subscription lives | The app’s own contract and portal | A native Shopify subscription contract |
| Pause · skip · cancel · payment | A separate portal and login | The shopper’s Shopify account — no separate portal |
| The offer | Subscribe & save per product | A 3+ product routine with a standing discount and a first-order gift |
| Where it is configured | Its own admin, then the theme editor | Comver → Revenue modules — the theme editor step is optional |
| What is measured | Varies | Contracts mirrored from Shopify; funnel, attach rate, gift claims and drop-off from storefront events |
| Storefront look | Its own widget styling | Follows your theme (Style 1) or one of two authored skins, shared with every Comver module |
Counted from contracts. Estimates say so.
Subscribe & Reward keeps its own event stream — widget viewed and opened, product added, routine reached, reward unlocked, subscribe started, subscription created, recurring order, cancelled, skipped, paused. Contracts are mirrored from Shopify.

Frequently asked questions
No. “Run setup” creates a native Shopify selling plan group called “Subscribe & Reward” — one plan per delivery frequency (7 / 14 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 90 days) — plus the free-gift discount. Shoppers pause, skip, cancel or update payment and address in their own Shopify account; you choose which of those actions to surface.
By default: 15% off every recurring order once the routine reaches three products, and a free gift auto-added at $0 with the first subscription. Both the minimum and the discount are settings, and the gift can be first-subscription-only or every subscription.
A floating pill (“Subscribe & Reward · Unlock −15%”) and a header shortcut with the routine count open the drawer anywhere; the “Comver S&R Product” block renders the Subscribe & Reward vs One-time chooser just above Add to cart. Targeting lets you show it on all products, only listed ones, or all except listed ones.
Creating selling plans needs Shopify’s subscription / purchase-option scopes (read/write purchase options and own subscription contracts), which are protected and approved per app in the Partner Dashboard. Until they are approved the module explains exactly that and keeps your configuration saved.
Everything the module needs is on its own page in Comver — copy, colours, rules, gift, targeting. The theme editor card is labelled optional; the only theme step is having the “Comver Subscribe & Reward” app embed switched on, which Settings › Theme embed shows you.
Contracts are mirrored from Shopify (status, cadence, routine size, monthly value); the funnel, attach rate, gift claims and drop-off are counted from storefront events. Like every module it is also attributed at order time by discount code or cart token. The only estimate is “Projected next 30d”, and it is labelled.
Yes — six built-in, sticky-assignment experiments: floating widget copy, discount badge, minimum products, gift banner, PDP default selection and CTA text. Variants under 50 exposures read “Not enough data”; a winner is marked when there is one.
The Customer Dashboard (served at /apps/comver/account) shows their routine, next delivery, savings and orders with Edit / Add product / Change frequency / Skip / Pause / Cancel; the underlying actions run natively in the Shopify account.
Turn three products into a routine
Activate Subscribe & Reward, run setup once and let the drawer do the rest. Contracts are Shopify’s; the routine, the reward and the numbers are yours.
